Going to be tubbed and sub framed.

Gathering parts for new frame.
2x3 box for front rails--pre formed for rear--ladder bar and coil overs. |
Tires that will go under the new frame.
They are Mickey Thompson Sportsman --18 1/2 x 31 x 15. They are slightly used but also a little cheaper. That's me - cheap - if I can still get quality.. |

Starting tire fit.
Just looking at this point. Looking to see how much to change wheel well opening.

Wheel well size?
This is the factory size wheel well opening, but it is too small for the tires. Looking to see how much they need to be enlarged. |
Step # 2.
Trial fit shows that it must be 4 inches wider . I want to keep the original shape.

Welded in..
The part that was removed was cut in the center and each part was moved 2 inches. This left the axle in the same position and kept the shape as it was. A 4 inch section was added in the center.. |
