My T-Bolt # 2

Putting it togather..

Some more pictures as it was coming to a finish and some when it started rolling.

Engine compartment.

Cleaning up the engine compartment. Heater removed. Windshield wipers removed. Just general clean-up.

New Tank

This is a new fiberglass gas tank. No more rust in the carb, at least that is what I hope..

Grill remodeling.

Test fitting the modifed grill and air induction system.

Engine ready for test run.

After firing up, it was run at 2,000rpm or more for a minimum of 30 minutes. Time set and Carb adjusted. Now ready to be installed.

After installation

Set up to look like the original (302 instead of the 427). Sounds and runs great. 15 - 18 mpg on 87 octane.

Before Decals

I gave a lot of thought to leaving it like this, but I wanted the Thunderbolt look.

About ready to leave the garage.
Just about ready for a test drive---it has been a long wait..
Early Drive
Just starting to drive a few test runs. This and the next  few pictures are by Scott Greg Quillen (thanks Greg).
Passenger side view.
This will be your view for entrance if you take a spin around the neighborhood with me.
Rear view?
Just walking around checking the view..

Front "Glass Fenders"
The fenders, hood and bumpers are all fiberglass. Have to handle them a little carefully.
Going away view??
This is what you will see if you slip up behind me.
Exaust location

Hooker Super Comp's with 2 1/2in series 40 Flowmasters dumping just forward the rear tire.
