Engine compartment.
Cleaning up the engine compartment. Heater removed. Windshield wipers removed. Just general clean-up.

New Tank
This is a new fiberglass gas tank. No more rust in the carb, at least that is what I hope.. |

Grill remodeling.
Test fitting the modifed grill and air induction system. |
Engine ready for test run.
After firing up, it was run at 2,000rpm or more for a minimum of 30 minutes. Time set and Carb adjusted. Now ready to be installed. |

After installation
Set up to look like the original (302 instead of the 427). Sounds and runs great. 15 - 18 mpg on 87 octane. |
Before Decals
I gave a lot of thought to leaving it like this, but I wanted the Thunderbolt look. |
